Waste management cards

 The use of waste management cards by municipalities has increased significantly over the past few years.

The cards, mostly based on Mifare technology or magnetic stripe encoding give access to the community recycle centres or to underground waste containers.

Libraries

National Library Card

Dutch Libraries developped a standard for their member cards. This socalled National Library Card

is a contactless Mifare Classic 1 K card, containing the same datamodel. For optimal recognition

one side of the card carries the same graphical national design, leaving the other side for local designs.

The local side can be personalized with name, number and barcode, corresponding with the encoded data
