The SCOUT offers barcode identification and/or RFID identification of media via patron card verification. The SCOUT also offers EM protection and/or RFID protection of items.

This makes it possible to end up with a full RFID system from an EM only system in the future when no budget is available to buy it all at once. The unit is very useful during the integration process of this new Technology as well.

The SCOUT is able to work together with any Host System especially when the host is based on SIP2 protocol.

The SCOUT offers the customer a wide range of customized options so the unit can easily fit in any application.
